Palatal obturator

The obturator is used to isolate the sinus from the mouth when these two cavities connect while replacing missing teeth, if necessary. It helps a patient maimed by severe trauma or oral cancer to recover phonetics, the ability to swallow and chew, and helps improve appearance.
